5" x 7/8" Ventilated Backing Plate with 5/8"-11 Flange Nut

Ventilated backing plate and flange nut. Fits grinders with a 5/8" threaded spindle (including short spindle grinders). Designed to hold fiber backed aluminum oxide, ceramic, zirconia alumina and silicon carbide abrasive discs with a 7/8" hole. Semi-rigid backing. Polypropylene construction with air holes and ribbed flow channels. Allows for proper air flow to keep temperatures cooler while grinding/sanding, this also lengthens the life of your abrasive discs.
